I walked to the edge of the stage and kindly asked what I could do for him. Language barriers was somewhat an issue, but it all became clear when I asked him if he didn’t like the music. He then yelled out in a high pitched voice: “It’s not metal!”, as if it was not even an issue of good and bad.

It strikes me at least five times a day, eyes closed… If I were an Arab and moved to Sweden, the thing I’d miss the most would be the sound of the muezzins’ chanting from the mosques’ minarets.

We headlined ProgPower Scandinavia in Copenhagen a while ago, and that was the last scheduled show – now we focus entirely on the next album, and the upcoming DVD [...]

And so we have commenced recording on the next world of Pain of Salvation. The “real” recording is scheduled to start November 4, but we have already recorded two songs and it sounds great. [...]

The DVD is now waiting to be released. It will be a double feature consisting of a documentary and a live show, together with a thick booklet and bonus material. [...]
